Each year the North Carolina Space Grant, a NASA-funded program, offers scholarships and fellowships to undergraduate and graduate students. The program currently funds 47 awardees across North Carolina, and also provides assistance to students who participate in NASA internships and other industry-sponsored opportunities.
 
NC Space Grant scholarships/fellowships include:
- Graduate Research Fellowship
- Undergraduate Research Scholarship
- Undergraduate Scholarship
- Community College STEM Scholarship
- NC Space Grant/J. Donald Cline Astronomy Scholarship
