Call for Papers The NCSU-URJ is no longer accepting applications for the late Spring issue. If students are interested in applying for the Fall 2008 issue, they may contact Emily Kiser at egkiser@ncsu.edu. Archives of the Spring 2008 issue can be found here. The Undergraduate Research Journal of North Carolina State University (URJ-NCSU) is a student-run publication that highlights mentored research and creative projects completed by undergraduates. In May 2004, Dr. George Barthalmus, Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research, initiated the Journal in order to create a publication that showcases the work of students who had committed themselves to scholarly, independent research. URJ-NCSU is biannual, publishing in the Fall & Spring semesters. The Journal accepts papers from all colleges and disciplines at NC State; the contents of an Issue are entirely determined by students' submissions. The Journal is divided into two main sections—feature stories and research articles. If you have any questions on submitting a work, see the submissions page or feel free to contact editor Emily Kiser at emilygkiser@gmail.com. The Journal consists of student editors.
