Affairs. Its primary responsibility is to support
University Advancement by producing print, electronic
and broadcast materials for public distribution, providing
campus footage for stations
and networks and assisting with any assigned projects
that enhance the image of North Carolina State University.
Special
Events, which coordinates all aspects of events for
the Chancellor's Office and University Advancement
and serves as a resource for colleges and other campus
units regarding event planning and protocol is also
part of Creative Services.
In
addition, Creative Services produces client-supported
World Wide Web, print, video
productions, and web
page designs for departments and units within
the university and the university system, offering
professional and broadcast-quality production at rates
significantly lower than commercial houses.
Photographic
Services provides images of NC State to News Services,
the Alumni Association, the Office of Development
and non-university publications. Various images of
the university are available through NC
State Images on the web.
The
Production Services section of this office is equipped
with broadcast-quality production and post-production
equipment and, in cooperation with the Industrial
Extension Service, administers a TV production studio
that is satellite-uplink capable.

Services also administers the Cooperating
Raleigh Colleges' Education Channel, a cable channel
serving the Raleigh area.

support-unit housed in Creative Services, providing
a full range of audio-video maintenance and repair
as well as professional presentation services for
