Phi Beta Kappa Chapter Elects New Members at NC State

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Sixty students were inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society's Zeta of North Carolina Chapter at North Carolina State University during the fall 1998 ceremony.

Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest honor fraternity in the country, supports excellence and integrity in the pursuit of liberal arts and sciences. The Zeta Chapter at NC State University was approved in August 1994.

The following are the 1998 fall student inductees, where available. They are listed with year and major, by county or state of residence.

BURLINGTON -- Patrick Brent Beamon, senior in zoology and multidisciplinary studies, son of William Michael Beamon, 610 Glenwood Ave., and Glenda Ward Crawford, 518 Fountain Place.
