"Focus and Why it is Important," 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, in B-25 Nelson Hall, NC State University. Michael Shook, president of Strategic Technologies, and Tom Welsh, president of Design Automation Inc., will lecture on the importance of strategic focus within any business. Both have won numerous local and national awards for entrepreneurship. The lecture is presented by the NC State University Business Leader Council as part of its Entrepreneurial Speaker Series.
