Attendance Requirements for HSS 110 / HSS 111
HSS 110/111, the Scholars Forum, meets weekly. Each semester, to receive a grade of Satisfactory (S) a student must attend that semester's required number of Forum events (typically 12). Any student failing to attend the minimum number of events will receive a grade of Unsatisfactory (U). To be counted present, students must complete and return a USP Event Attendance Card at the time of the event. Students MUST complete both sides of the card to receive attendance credit. It is the responsibility of each student to complete and return an attendance card for each event. Attendance cards will be given out at the beginning of Forum and collected at the end. Absences for meetings with faculty, work, etc., will not be excused.  It is in the student's best interests to maintain a personal record of those events attended.
