NC State is participating in the Yellow Ribbon Program

Beginning Fall 2009, qualifying graduate students may be able to take advantage of this additional benefit, which supplements Chapter 33 VA benefits.

Can I get PE credit as a result of my military training?

The answer is yes, if you qualify!

What we'll need to award credit:
Military training and discharge papers.

Bring this information and any other documents you may have to the VA Certifying Official in Registration and Records (1000 Harris Hall). You may receive test credit for PE and/or some Military Science courses at NC State!

Is there a student group for veterans?

Yes! NCSU Student Veterans is a new group founded by Jason Lindsay. Look for more information about this student organization in the near future

Are there any courses available specifically for veterans?

Yes! USC 120 (SERV) for Veterans is offered by First Year College (FYC) this Fall 2009.
