When do I start my benefits?

Once you have been admitted in a degree program here at North Carolina State University.

How long does it take to process my benefits?

Approximately 8 - 10 weeks. See about a Information Session.

Where will my monthly benefits go?

Type of Benefits Method Received
Chapter 30 (Active Duty) Your monthly benefits are direct deposit.
Chapter 33 (Post 9/11 New Bill) Your tuition and fees will be paid directly to NC State. Your BAH (Basic Allowance for Housing), books, and other fees are direct deposit.
Chapter 35 (Survivor/Dependents) Your monthly benefits are mailed to your permanent home address.
Chapter 1606 (Selected Reserve) Your monthly benefits are direct deposit.
Chapter 1607 (REAP) Your monthly benefits are direct deposit.
