BACKGROUND
Mr. Lemaster is the Director of the Wood
Machining & Tooling Research
Program in the Department of Wood &
Paper Science at North Carolina State
University.
Prior to his employment at NC State University, he was the Head
of
the Wood Machining Research Center at the
University of California Forest
Products Laboratory.
His area of research includes wood machining, tool wear,
process monitoring, acoustic emission
monitoring, and on-line surface quality
assessment.
