When is WolfCamp 2007?

WolfCamp will not be held in 2007.

Registration

When do I need to register for Wolfcamp?

We will be accepting registration through until July 25th, 2006 or until all of our limited spaces are reserved.

What will it cost to attend Wolfcamp?

The registration fee for Wolfcamp is $110.00 This fee includes:
Three days and 2 nights in Tucker Residence Hall
One picnic on Sunday evening and 3 meals daily in the university dining hall on Monday and Tuesday.
A Wolfcamp T-shirt
A lifetime of memories

How do I register for Wolfcamp?

How do I pay for Wolfcamp?

Check or Money Order made payable to NCSU (or by e-check when you register online)
Credit Card – Visa or MasterCard

When I register online, how will I know that you received my registration?

Once you have registered online, you will receive a confirmation e-mail within a few minutes. The confirmation e-mail will be sent to the email account you have provided on the registration form and to the alternate email you have provided during online registration.

Will I receive a confirmation packet?

Yes, after you register for Wolfcamp, we will be following up with a confirmation packet that will provide you with additional information about Wolfcamp. These packets will be sent out via email at the email address provided at the time of registration. You should read through the packet thoroughly and complete any necessary forms that might be included.

What time does Wolfcamp start?

Check in for Wolfcamp is from 3:00 – 5:30 pm on Sunday, August 6.
Wolfcamp will begin promptly at 5:30 pm. The Check in station will be located at 2800 Cates Avenue in front of Tucker Residence Hall.

What time will I need to leave Wolfcamp?

Check out: Will begin at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, August 8.

What are the directions to Wolfcamp?

Here are the general directions to NC State or you may visit www.mapquest.com and enter 2800 Cates Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27695.

Directions to WolfCamp

From Durham via US 70

Take US 70 to downtown Raleigh. (US 70 turns into Glenwood Avenue.) Follow Glenwood Avenue to Oberlin Road. Turn right onto Oberlin Road (approximately 3 miles). Turn right onto Hillsborough Street. Take an immediate left at Pullen Road. Follow signs to the Visitor Information Booth on Stinson Drive (at the traffic circle).

From Chapel Hill and Durham via I-40

Take I-40 East approximately 25 miles to Raleigh. At the I-40/Wade Avenue split, stay on I-40 to Gorman Street, exit 295. Turn left at the stoplight onto Gorman Street and follow it to the third traffic light. Turn right onto Avent Ferry Road. After approximately 1.5 miles you will turn right onto Western Boulevard. Take the first left onto Pullen Road. Follow signs to the Visitor Information Booth on Stinson Drive (at the traffic circle).

From Fayetteville via US 401

Take US 401 to Raleigh. Then take I-40 West to Gorman Street, exit 295. Turn right at the stoplight onto Gorman Street and follow it to the second traffic light. Turn right onto Avent Ferry Road. After approximately 1.5 miles, you pass through a traffic light at Western Boulevard and enter campus. Turn right at the first light on campus onto Cates, then left at the dead end onto Pullen Road. Follow signs to the Visitor Information Booth on Stinson Drive (at the traffic circle).

From Henderson via US 1

Take US 1 (which turns into Capital Boulevard) to downtown Raleigh. Turn right onto Edenton Street. Edenton Street merges with Hillsborough Street. Follow Hillsborough Street and then turn left at Dan Allen Drive. Continue on Dan Allen Drive to Cates Avenue. Turn left on Cates Avenue. Tucker Hall will be on the left at 2800 Cates Avenue.

From Rocky Mount via US 64

Take US 64 West towards Raleigh. US 64 West will merge with East I-440 (Inner Beltline). After approximately 7 miles, exit onto Gorman Street, exit 295. Turn right at the stoplight onto Gorman Street and follow it to the second traffic light. Turn right onto Avent Ferry Road. After approximately 2.0 miles you will turn left onto Cates Avenue. Tucker Hall will be on the right at 2800 Cates Avenue.

From New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia via I- 95 South

Take I-95 South to I-85 South. Then take US 1 (which turns into Capital Boulevard) to downtown Raleigh. Turn right onto Edenton Street. Edenton Street merges with Hillsborough Street. Follow Hillsborough Street and then turn left at Dan Allen Drive. Continue on Dan Allen Drive to Cates Avenue. Turn left on Cates Avenue. Tucker Hall will be on the left at 2800 Cates Avenue.

From Florida via I-95 North

Take I-95 North to I-40 West. Proceed on I-40 West into Raleigh to Gorman Street, exit 295. Turn right at the stoplight onto Gorman Street and follow it to the second traffic light. Turn right onto Avent Ferry Road. After approximately 2.0 miles you will turn left onto Cates Avenue. Tucker Hall will be on the right at 2800 Cates Avenue.

Transportation and Parking

I will be flying into Raleigh Durham International, how will I get to NC State?

Ground transportation to and from the airport will be provided free of charge. Please make sure we have your flight itinerary. That information can be provided during online registration or it can be added to your online registration as soon as it is available. I am arriving by train, how will I get to NC State?

Where should I park when I arrive on campus?

When you arrive on campus on Sunday afternoon you may park anywhere along Cates Avenue. If you are going to be keeping your car on campus during WolfCamp, you should purchase a parking permit during registration. Parking permits for Wolfcamp will cost an additional $10.00. At Check-In you will receive your permit and parking location.

I will have my car on campus during Wolfcamp. Will I need a parking permit?

Yes you will need a parking permit if you are going to park your car on campus during Wolfcamp. Parking permits will be provided at an additional charge of $10.00. You should indicate your need for a parking permit at the time of registration. You will be given your permit when you check in for Wolfcamp on Sunday afternoon along with your parking location.

Early Arrival

I will be attending New Student Orientation on August 3rd and 4th and I would like to stay on campus for Wolfcamp. Is that possible?

For those students attending the August 4-5th New Student Orientation Session only – We can reserve a room for you to stay in Tucker Hall for a fee of $15.00 per day. This fee will cover room only. No meals wll be provided. Please indicate that you will need lodging for August 4th and August 5th on your registration form.

I am coming in by plane or train from out of state. Can I check in early?

Students who are coming to Raleigh from out of state can arrive on Saturday, August 5th. Lodging can be reserved in the residence hall for a fee of $15.00 per day. We will provide ground transportation to the campus from both the train station and the airport. Please make sure we have your itinerary so that we know when you are arriving. This information can be included on your online registration or you can email your itinerary to our office.

Cancellation

I have registered for Wolfcamp but now I cannot attend. Can I cancel my registration?

Yes, you may cancel your registration if you need to. Our cancellation/refund policy is as follows:
We will gladly provide a full refund of your registration fee if your cancellation reaches our office by July 25th. 2006

What to expect

Who can attend Wolfcamp?

Wolfcamp is open to all newly admitted students, whether you are a student entering your freshman year at NC State or you are transferring to NC State after attending another institution. We have something relevant for all new students and we invite you to attend Wolfcamp.

You said that space is limited. How can I guarantee a spot at WolfCamp?

REGISTER EARLY and use online registration. Space is limited and the sooner you register the more likely you are to be confirmed as a WolfCamp participant.

What do I need to bring to Wolfcamp?

You will receive a complete list of what you need to bring to camp in your confirmation packet.
