This brief information session is for individuals who think they might be interested in participating in the actual veiling day on January 24. We will explain the purpose of the day, show how to appropriately wear the scarf, and share suggestions on how to respond should people ask questions.

Female participants in this social experiment will wear a headscarf, or hijab, and observe reactions to a custom followed by many Muslim women. Join us as we explore and discuss what it is like to veil. A panel of women will be featured who choose to veil - or not - on a daily basis. Everyone welcome!
