The North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NCCASA) and the NC State Women's Center are organizing a Sexual Assault Free Environment (SAFE) Walk/Run. This 5K and 10K event will help raise awareness about sexual violence as well as raising funds to support services to survivors of rape and sexual assault.

Register online at http://fsseries.com. Just click on "running events" and choose the SafeWalk/Run 5K or the SafeWalk/Run 10K. Student discount code is ncsustudent. Note that credit card transactions can only be accepted through this online registration.

If you prefer, the registration form may also be completed, signed and returned to the Women's Center with the registration fee by March 11, 2009 and receive a free t-shirt. Note that through our office we can accept cash or checks, but have no way to process cards. The form along with the registration fee may be delivered to our office in Room 3120 of Talley Student Center between 9:00 and 4:00, Monday through Friday, or mailed to us at:

Note that shirts will be distributed at the event and anyone wishing to register at the event may do so, but will not receive the t-shirt.
