The goal is simple:  Take Back the Night is a show of support for survivors of rape and sexual assault, both on campus and in the community, and a protest against sexual violence that affects both men and women.  The October 23rd march and rally will be 20th annual on the NC State campus and is expected to draw over 500 supporters.

6:15 p.m.-To participate in a march, meet at one of the following locations:

  1. East Campus: The Quad Lawn
  2. West Campus: Amphitheater (behind Bragaw Hall)
  3. Greek Court: Dan Allen Dr. and Fraternity Ct.

7:00 p.m.-Marchers will convene in the North Plaza (behind Talley Student Center), where the rally will take place.  The event will include music, guest speakers and an opportunity for survivors and others to Speak Out. A short candlelight vigil recognizing survivors of rape and sexual assault will follow the rally.

Counselors will be available after the event in Room 3121 of Talley Student Center for those who would like to share their stories and receive support in a safe and confidential environment.

Look for us on the Brickyard on Monday, October 22 - where you can pick up a t-shirt showing your support. T-shirts can also be purchased in the Women's Center - Room 3120, Talley Student Center. The shirts are white, long-sleeve and have the wolves logo shown above. Individual shirts sell for $10 each.
