Knitting . .
The knitting group was started in the fall of 2003 at the request of a student. The group has brought students, faculty, and staff together to learn and practice this wonderful craft. The Women's Center supplies yarn, patterns, and instruction. We ask participants to bring their own needles. If you are a beginner, a pair of size 8 short knitting needles is recommended. Although any needles will work, shorter ones tend to be easier when beginning.
The group meets each Tuesday evening at 5:30 PM in Room 3121, Talley Student Center. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced knitter, we invite you to join us at any time. Registration is not required.
