Family Forest Heritage Days

Working with Cooperative Extension and local landowners, the project team organized a series of "Family Forest Heritage" Days in April of 2005.

These were held in Brunswick County , VA and Northampton , Warren , and Duplin counties in NC.   By clicking on the county name, you can obtain summary evaluations of the events.   You also can download examples of the postcards and mailings used to advertise these events.   NCSU graduate students Stephanie Freeman, Greg Frey, and Nia Atmadja helped with the events.   Thanks to the Bradley-Murphy Forestry & Natural Resources Extension Trust for supplementary funding.

Working with your Small Woodlands

In the spring of 2004, the project team organized two workshops on "Working with your Small Woodlands" in the Haliwa-Saponi Multipurpose Building in Hollister (February) and in the Harrells Community Building (March).   You can download an example of the flyers used to advertise the workshops and a summary evaluation.
