Dissolved Oxygen Plots

This example shows the plotted portion of the Neuse River between New Bern and Cherry Point. DO levels of 2 mg/L or less are considered to be low. At these low levels, fish kills can occur. For visual clarity, the creeks were filled in with the same color scheme as the basin in all following plots. No actual samples were taken inside the creeks.

Neuse River RTRM Dissolved Oygen Plots

The following dissolved oxygen (DO) movies were created from plots of data from our seven Neuse River Data Platforms. Each movie contains data showing the average DO levels over 3 consecutive eight hour periods, 0800-1600, 1600-2400, and 2400-0800 hours.
