WRRI Research Funding

Four categories of funding are available through WRRI. Each spring, NC WRRI issues a call for proposals that is based on our federally-appropriated funding from the USGS, and for which we also use state-appropriated research dollars. Additional annual funding opportunities from the USGS occur each winter through the 104(G) Competitive Grants Program. Local sources of funding are the Urban Water Consortium and the Stormwater Group, or through the occasional Mini-Grant.
