Purpose: These workshops are structured to educate and familiarize design professionals on the NC Sedimentation Pollution Control Act (SPCA), the rules implementing the Act, and design standards for erosion and sedimentation control best management practices (BMPs).

Who Should Attend? Professional Engineers, Surveyors, Landscape Architects and others who design Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plans.

Credits: 12 PDHs will be available to professional engineers and land surveyors, and 10 continuing education hours for landscape architects upon completion of one of these workshops. Please provide your license number on the registration form.

Registration

Pre-registration is required. We anticipate that this workshop will fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged. Fee and registration form are required to register.

Registration Deadlines: Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations deadlines: Tuesday, March 25th for the Hickory workshop. Please use the registration form on the brochure. For additional forms, please photocopy.

Fee: $200. Covers materials, breaks, and two lunches. Workshop is payable by check to “NC State University” or Visa/MC.

Cancellations: Cancellations received 7 days or more prior to workshop will receive a refund less $15 processing fee. No refunds after 7 days prior to the event. Substitutions will be accepted. One day registration is not available. You are NOT registered UNTIL we receive your registration form with PAYMENT.

Hotel Accommodations

Participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. A room block will be reserved at both locations. Please mention the Erosion & Sedimentation Control Workshop group rates when making your reservation.
