In 2009 a group of former and current College of Design and College of Textiles students with an interest in fibers and textiles came together to form The Common Seam Collective. The group strives to build and maintain their identity as artists, designers, and craftspeople, as well as a connection to the community that nurtured them through continued education, critique, performance, and support.
On Friday February 26th The Common Seam Collective will debut it’s first group show. Please join us from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at The Lodi Project Gallery, 1126 N. Blount St, Raleigh, for an opening reception.

Gabrielle Duggan, currently pursuing a Master of Art and Design, exhibiting thesis work.
Meghan Holliday, Anni Albers Scholar 2009, currently pursuing a Master of Art and Design.
Shelley Smith, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Art and Design.
