Natural Learning isn’t just for school anymore. The Edible Classroom, an exhibit at the Greensboro Children’s Museum, debuted May 22 as a fun way for children to learn about healthy eating, gardening, botany, and cooking, in a hands-on way. The Edible Classroom is part of the NC State College of Design’s Natural Learning Initiative, a one-of-a-kind center for promoting outdoor learning among the children of the state.

The museum’s kitchen and garden were visited by NC State’s new chancellor, William Randolph “Randy” Woodson, last week. Throughout the summer, Chancellor Woodson is making a “mountains-to-the-sea” tour of the state to key sites where NC State is making an impact.
