The School of Architecture and the College of Design at North Carolina State University present Drawings: The Art of Brian Shawcroft.
Mr. Shawcroft is an architect and former associate professor of architecture at NCSU. His contributions to the modern movement of architecture made him a recipient of the Kamphoefner Prize in 1991. Mr. Shawcroft is also well recognized for his art of drawing. His work ranges from architectural sketches and renderings to figure drawing. To encourage the practice of drawing among future architects, he generously funds the Shawcroft Prize, awarded every year to architecture student(s) who demonstrate excellent hand drawing skills.
