Architecture student Christopher Pietsch recently presented his work in the Ninth Annual NC State University Undergraduate Summer Research Symposium at the McKimmon Center. Pietsch won a $1500 undergraduate research grant to study craft in prefabricated architecture. As part of his research, he traveled to San Francisco to visit the offices of Anderson Anderson Architects where he experienced first-hand the processes and methods of prefabrication. Assistant Professor of Architecture David Hill served as his advisor.
