Georgia Bizios
College of Design Professor of Architecture Georgia Bizios FAIA was named the 2010 Green Designer of the Year by the US Green Building Council, North Carolina Triangle Chapter. The award was made to Bizios for serving as an exemplary role model in pioneering, sharing and practicing sustainable principles that are saving the planet for the next generation. She received the award during a ceremony on September 9, 2010.
