Sharon Silcox of the Design Library received an honorable mention in the 2010 Hexapod Haiku Contest from the NC State University Insect Museum.
Judges gave her high marks for “the best combination of science and art” and “every syllable, punctuation, meaning, imagery, etc. is purposeful.”
