"Lead by Thread" is a collection of Fiber Arts. Matthew Wilson will present work from six months in South America.

Photography by 20 students of NCSU's College of Design. Also we will celebrated the release of the Bench Warmers IV DVD.

October... continued: "Second String"

"Second String" will open this Friday, October 14th from 8-11 pm at the Fish Market. This will be the second opening for our current show, the installation "String Theory".

October: "String Theory" HAPPY BIRTHDAY Show

The show is going to be a collective installation, anyone who wants to participate may.

We want to invite all of the student body to bring objects (either found or made- this is not limited to anything- whatever inspires you) to the Fish Market and to string them from the ceiling on the nights of Tues. Sept 27th and Wed. the 28th from 6-9pm. You can bring your ownstring or use what we will be providing.

Also, if anyone would like to create or participate in a smaller scale installation with string you may come and do that too. There will also be a special exhibit in the back hallway. We are hoping to fill the large room with all kinds of inspirational bits and pieces, so we need a lot of participation. Even if you only have one object, please come be a part of this event.

The opening reception with be held on Friday October 7th celebrating the third birthday of the Fish Market gallery. We realize this is Fall Break, and we are in the works of scheduling an additional reception for all the students who cannot make it.

September: Featuring work from students who studied abroad.

April: Senior Show. Senior show is designated to graduating Art + Design Seniors and will include sculpture, painting, comics, fibers, jewelry, computer animation and more.

May: '05 Faculty Show featuring a range of work from four different departments, as well as animation's from and 460. Come join us for the fun starting at 6 and running until 11pm.
