The College of Design at NC State University is engaged in research
that addresses the study of the history of the design disciplines, theories
of making and interpretation, and critical perspectives on design.
The goals of this work are to:
- build knowledge about the interrelationships among design disciplines
- develop new interpretive perspectives and modes of inquiry across and within disciplinary boundaries
