Volunteer Opportunities


There are a variety of volunteer opportunities in the arts at NC State.


University Theatre encourages students to volunteer in our productions as actors and backstage techicians, including lighting and sound technicians, costume technicians, and stagehands.




Employment Opportunities


Employment opportunities are available each year in the ARTS programs.


The Crafts Center employs student assistants in the studios. Check in fall of 2009 when the center returns to the Frank Thompson Building, which is currently under renovation.

The Music Department employs student assistants in the department offices and classrooms.


University Theatre employs technical assistants and house crew in Stewart Theatre. Student assistants are also occasionally hired in the technical and costume areas of production.
