COVID-19 has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization and is prevalent throughout the United States, North Carolina and the local community. COVID-19 is highly contagious and believed to be spread mainly from person-to-person contact.
The welfare and safety of the NC State community is our primary concern, and the university is providing this Emergency Notification to the campus community as a reminder to stay vigilant and comply with the recommended and required precautions and measures, including wearing face coverings, physical distancing and good hand hygiene. This will not only protect your health but also that of our community.
For additional information about COVID‐19, how to protect yourself and protect the Pack, please visit the university’s Protecting the Pack website for additional information and resources.
The CDC, and state and local health departments, as well as the university, are continually reviewing and updating guidance on the pandemic and its impact. NC State will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and provide additional notifications to keep the community informed about the pandemic and its impact on campus.
