- NC State announced a revised spring academic calendar on Oct. 22.
- Instruction for the spring semester will be a mix of in-person, hybrid and online classes for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Classes will start later, on Jan. 19, to allow adequate time for move-in, and to give students living on campus time to go through the university’s testing protocols.
- Students living off campus are highly encouraged to get tested for COVID-19 before returning to campus for in-person instruction in the spring.
Instead of a traditional week-long spring break, students will have four wellness days spread throughout the semester. Faculty are instructed to avoid deadlines and tests on days following wellness days. The university will remain open on wellness days.
