Yucca filamentosa - Adam's needle What's in bloom at the JC Raulston Arboretum?  The Main Perennial Border is glorious with several hundred different kinds of perennial plants now in flower.   This week look for Buddleja,  Gardenia, and Lagerstroemia coming in to flower throughout the Arboretum and do not miss the recently renovated Rose Garden.  Hydrangea and Hosta in the Lath House are now stealing the show.   The colors in the Annuals Trial Area become brighter each day.   In the Southwest Garden (closed due to construction site) Agave havardiana hybrid and Agave neomexicana have 10-15' flower spikes.  This list is not comprehensive of all the plants currently flowering at the Arboretum.  Plant names in RED are new to the list this week.  Enjoy your visit!
