NC State's campus update on Poe Hall Closure

Poe Hall Updates

NC State will continue to update our community — and provide support and resources — while Poe Hall is closed.

Moving Ahead Together

Thank you to the countless teams across NC State who have worked together to relocate more than 230 classes for more than 4,000 students — and to provide convenient spaces to work and teach for the more than 400 faculty, staff and graduate students who previously occupied Poe Hall.

We anticipate that the building will remain closed through at least the end of 2024, and we are committed to keeping our community updated on our progress and the latest testing results throughout this process. As new information becomes available, it will be shared on this webpage and via email.

The university remains committed to doing the right things to ensure this is a safe place to work, learn and live.
