Fashion and textile management student Jada Williams (@jadaeman) had the opportunity to join industry icons from around the world for New York Fashion Week. The all-expenses-paid @uofnyfw program gives about 25 U.S. college students access to the event every fall and spring. Jada was this semester’s winner of the NC State competition, made possible thanks to a partnership between NC State’s Trademark Licensing Office and the Wilson College.
“This trip was really a dream come true. It was so amazing to see the fashion industry from a different perspective,” Jada said. “I took a lot away from this trip, but the most important thing was that there is no specific path to success; take the path that is right for you and all of the great things will follow.”
