Home > Apply to NDS

In order to enroll in an on-campus or distance education course as a Non-Degree Studies (NDS) Student:

Students must have a high school diploma or GED (high school students with exceptional academic records can enroll through the Academic Enrichment (AEO) program).
Students must have graduated from high school at least a year prior to taking classes as an NDS student; this restriction does not apply to Summer Sessions or Academic Enrichment Opportunities (AEO).
Suspended students must appeal to the Admission Committee.

Students cannot be currently classified as an NC State University degree student.
Students are now required to pay a non-refundable $25 Non-Degree Studies application processing fee at the end of the application.
